Registration for the 2025 season is now closed across all divisions — Tackle, Flag Football, and Cheerleading.
7v7 Registration – Now Open
Open to boys and girls in grades 2–8, our 7v7 division helps players stay active in the off-season while building football IQ, teamwork, and confidence.
- Registration: $360 Click Here
- 8 tournaments (6 on Saturday and the last 2 on Sundays)
- Tournament location: Ygnacio Valley High School in Concord
- Practice 1 hour before the tournament (may have additional practices based on field availability)
- 7v7 start date 1/24/26
Tackle Football (Ages 7–14)
Registration for the 2025 Hawks Tackle Season is NOW OPEN!
Players are assigned to teams based on age, weight, and experience, following EBYFC guidelines — not by school grade or friend requests.
- Season begins July 14, 2025
- Part of the East Bay Youth Football & Cheer (EBYFC)
- Full-contact football with certified coaches
- Refundable registration (less 10%) through July 13
Flag Football (2nd–8th Grade, Co-Ed)
Our 8v8 NFL-Style Flag Football program teaches core skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a non-contact, fast-paced format.
- Registration opens December 1, 2024
- Evaluations in July 2025
- Season runs August–November 2025
- Includes NFL jersey, shorts, flags, and player camps
- Refundable registration (less 10%) through first week of practice
Cheerleading (Ages 7–14)
Let’s go Hawks! PJFL Cheer builds spirit, confidence, and teamwork. No experience needed — just energy, enthusiasm, and a love for cheer.
- Season begins July 14, 2025
- Includes team uniforms, weekly practices, and game day performances
- Open to all skill levels
- Great opportunity for community involvement and leadership

Make a Difference – On and Off the Field
Whether you’re a seasoned football coach, a parent looking to get involved, or someone passionate about helping kids grow through sports, there’s a place for you on our team. We’re looking for enthusiastic, positive role models to serve as Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and Game Day Volunteers. No previous coaching experience is required—we provide everything you need, including:
- USA Football Youth Coach Certification
- Access to Coaching Tools & Resources
- First Aid & CPR Training
- Ongoing Mentorship and League Support

Practice & Game Locations

All PJFL practices and home games take place at two of Pleasanton’s premier athletic facilities: Ken Mercer Sports Park and Patelco Sports Complex. These well-maintained venues provide a safe, spacious, and family-friendly environment for athletes to learn, play, and grow.
Ken Mercer Sports Park, (Flag Football Practice) located in the heart of Pleasanton, is known for its expansive fields, modern amenities, and ample parking—making it an ideal home base for our practices and flag football games. Patelco Sports Complex, with its professional-grade turf fields and convenient layout, hosts many of our tackle football games and larger league events.
Both locations are easily accessible from anywhere in the Tri-Valley area and are central to our mission of keeping youth sports local, organized, and community-driven. Whether you’re a player, coach, or cheering family member, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere and a strong sense of team spirit at every PJFL event.
