Honoring a Legacy of Leadership

We begin by extending our deepest gratitude to President Johnny Hamm, who, after more than 25 years of dedicated service, has decided to step down from his role. Johnny’s unwavering commitment, vision, and tireless efforts have shaped PJFL into the thriving organization it is today.

His leadership has impacted generations of players, families, and volunteers.

2025 PJFL Board of Directors

We are also pleased to introduce our newly elected and continuing board members:

- Anita Walrath, Vice President
  Elected to the role, Anita brings years of volunteer service and leadership across multiple roles. She has been instrumental in reviving our cheer program — all while raising three boys who have proudly worn Hawks colors.
- Katie Harris, Treasurer
  Continuing in her role, Katie’s steady hand, transparency, and diligence have helped stabilize and grow our financial position, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the league.
- Maria Marion, Vice President of Flag and 7-on-7
  Returning to her position, Maria has done an exceptional job building out our Flag Football program and expanding offerings for players of all levels.
- Caryn Nowak, Secretary
  Newly elected, Caryn transitions from her previous role as Team Parent Coordinator. Her leadership and attention to detail have been vital in organizing and supporting weekly operations across all levels.
- Jason Jennings, Player Agent
  Recently appointed, Jason will oversee player registration, roster management, and eligibility. He will ensure that football-related decisions are made thoughtfully, fairly, and in the best interest of our players and families.

Each of these individuals brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and passion to their roles, and we are grateful for their continued service.

Through the Decades

For over half a century, Pleasanton Junior Football League (PJFL) has been more than just a league—it’s been a tradition. Since 1969, thousands of players, coaches, cheerleaders, and families have come together to build a program rooted in sportsmanship, teamwork, and community pride.

As we celebrate 55 incredible seasons, we invite you to take a walk through PJFL history. From our humble beginnings in the early ’70s to the vibrant program we are today, this league has been powered by generations of volunteers, athletes, and passionate supporters.
