The PJFL Rivalry Trophy
Honoring Tradition, Competition & Community Pride
Each fall, the city of Pleasanton comes alive with excitement as Amador Valley High School and Foothill High School face off in one of the Bay Area’s most spirited high school football rivalries. More than just a game, this annual matchup is a celebration of athletic excellence, school pride, and community tradition—and at the heart of it stands the PJFL Rivalry Trophy.
Sponsored by the Pleasanton Junior Football League, the Rivalry Trophy is awarded to the winning team of this highly anticipated showdown. It’s more than just a symbol of victory—it’s a tribute to the dedication, teamwork, and character shown by the student-athletes of both schools.
Whether you’re in purple or blue, on the field or in the stands, this game brings our community together like no other. The trophy reminds us all that while rivalries ignite fierce competition, they also build lifelong respect and lasting memories.
