How do I create an account?
In order to access most of the features on PJFL, you first need to establish an account and login to the site. Creating an account is fast, easy, and free.

Simply click on the Register link at the top of every page and fill out the required information. Once you have requested your account, an email will automatically be sent to the email address that you provide. In order to finalize the creation of your account, you'll need to open the email and click on the activation link inside. This will confirm that your email address is correct, and will fully activate your account. If you have a spam filter on your email application, be sure to allow emails from pjfl.info so taht your activation email will arrive.

If you do not receive the activation email, you will need to contact us to manually activate your account, which may take a day or two.

We ask that you establish your identity simply to assist us in coordinating league busienss. Your confidentiality is important to us and your personal information will not be shared.


How do I submit a Timeout article?
The first, and most important thing you should do before submitting a new article for the Timeout is to review the Timeout Article Submission Guidelines. This document helps guide you on what to write, how to write it, and requirements for a successful article.

Once you are confident that your article complies with the Guidelines, submitting the article is a simple process. Just go to http://pjfl.com/forums/newthread.php?do=article and fill in the easy to follow form.

How do I contribute photos?
The PJFL has a great need for photos throughout the season. Although the league partners with a professional photographer for the official player pictures early in the season, there is also a great need for plenty of action shots!

Your photos may be used either in the weekly Timeout, or during the slideshow presented during the award ceremony, and we've tried to make it as easy as possible for you to share them with us.

To upload photos to the site, go to the Photos section and locate the appropriate location. Most of the time, this will be the team you were taking pictures of, but it may also be photos of special events, such as the All-Star game. Once you find your section, click on Upload under Gallery Navigation. You will now be able to upload up to 10 photos at a time. Keep in mind that the more photos you upload, and the larger the files, the longer it will take. If you are uploading high resolutions pictures, it may take a while.

Be sure to include a descriptive Title and Description. The more information you can provide, the better. Information such as which week the game is being played is great. But, if you can include information on who is in the photos, that's even better!

In the interest of disk space, please try to select only high quality photos. Blurry pictures or those without a focal point will probably not be utilized. If your photo is not selected for the Timeout or slideshow, please don't take it personally - we still appreciate your contribution. Our focus is on showing as many of the kids as possible.

How do I add an upcoming event to the calendar?
The PJFL Calendar is meant to track all activities related to the operating of the league. If you know of an event that is not currently included in the calendar, including team-specific events, you are welcome to add them to the calendar!

Just click on Calendar at the top of any page. In the bottom right, there is a box entitled Add New Event. Click on the type of event you want to add, which will take you to an entry form. Keep the title brief, but enter as much detail as possible in the Event Information box. Click Save Event, and voila! Your event is now in the calendar, and will also appear on the main page.


How can I volunteer?
The PJFL thrives because of its highly dedicated army of parents, coaches, ex-players, and local businesses who contribute their time and energy to make the league successful. If you have the time, we can use your help! You can either contact your child's team coach regarding volunteer opportunities, or contact the PJFL Board directly at info@pjfl.com.

How can I sponsor the PJFL?
The PJFL could not function without the generous support of our sponsors. By becoming a sponsor of the PJFL, in addition to helping the league continue to excel, your business could receive local community exposure through the Timeout newletter, website, and season events.

Where is the PJFL Storage Facility?
The PJFL Storage Facility is located at 2110 Rheem Drive in Pleasanton, California. This facility is used for equipment pickup and return, as well as PJFL Board Meetings.
